There is some great news coming from the West Coast as Isaiah Thomas, the Los Angeles Lakers Guard has stated that he is “finally pain free” after more than a year
of playing basketball in pain.
The former Boston Celtic had surgery on his hip in late march after suffering from a torn hip labrum for nearly a year (IT picked up the injury during the 2017 playoffs)
and is looking to make an impact on the NBA once more.
It has been a tough year for Thomas, with the Celtics trading him to the Cleveland Cavaliers for Kyrie Irving only to get traded again (15 games later) for a mixed package that included Jordan Clarkson and Larry Nance Jr.
It wasn’t clear to Lakers head coach Luke Walton that Thomas was ever in pain, as the guard was always in good spirits around the team and was ‘’always saying how good he felt.’’
Now, with this confirmation, Thomas can get back to doing what he does best, scoring points, and lots of them.
